Margot Balboni has worked as a photographer for twenty-five years both on assignment and on independent projects.
She has flown in a helicopter back and forth across the United States photographing the complex intersection of the man-made and the natural. This work culminated in 2007 with the traveling exhibition THE AMERICAN MADE ALPHABET that was reviewed in the New York Times. Closer to home, Margot spent fifteen years flying over the city and crawling through the tunnels of the BIG DIG documenting the transformation of Boston.
